The tracks 'Generally Hostile' was written one day before the scheduled recording sessions. The band felt that the album was too short and needed another track.
Five version of 'Ample Destruction' were released but only three of them were official releases.
Early test pressings of 'Ample Destruction' were entitled 'Licensed to Kill' and did not include the song
'The Watching'. The record company missed a phone message that said 'Call the album Ample Destruction' so pressing plant took the name from track 1. It's still a mystery why 'The Watching' was left off the first test pressing, but all issues were corrected for the official release.
The track 'The Crucifix' was actually going to be on the first e.p., but there was no suitable acoustic guitar available so the band left the song for 'Ample Destruction'.
'Ample Destruction' is the only Jag Panzer album to be officially released on vinyl, cassette and cd.
