Introduction
Greetings fellow metal heads!
In 1978 the first band I was a part of had Mark Briody, John Tetley and Rick Hillyard in it.
It then became Jag Panzer.
I first desired to become a metal man when I heard Ronnie James Dio on HEAVEN AND HELL.
I had been singing in choirs and solo since 1978 and had won several awards for classical solo performance.
I heard Dio and flipped.
How can a person evoke so much power and emotion with such a fragile organ-instrument?
Then the voice of Bruce Dickinson on NUMBER OF THE BEAST set precedence.
And later Geoff Tate raised the bar even higher on MIND CRIME.
Influence
Ronnie James Dio (power), Bruce Dickinson (range), Geoff Tate (emotion),
Ian Gillian, and Steve Perry.
Equipment
Sennheiser microphones (wired and wireless) and Alesis nano stuff.
