Hi, this is Mark Briody, guitarist for Jag Panzer. One of my hobbies is checking out metal web sites on the Internet. I visit every metal site I can find and there are some excellent ones out there. I've broken my links down into A - Z to give you a nice overview on them.

I decided to take a new approach to the band links. First I made a list of every power, true, traditional and progressive metal band that I could think of (plus some bands influential to this type of music, like Rush). I then asked some friends if they could add anyone that I forgot. Then I did some net searches and added some new or lesser-known bands of this genre. I ended up with a HUGE list of bands. I took this list and searched for the single best source of information for each band. If I found an official site for the band I listed that site. If no official site was found, I listed the best fan site for that particular band.
Sometimes I couldn't find a complete site dedicated to a band so I linked to a review or maybe a record company page. For some bands (like Blind Guardian for example) there are a few sites which I visit often, so I listed them all. I also listed Jag Panzer on this list just in case someone takes the whole list and puts in on their own site (feel free to). If you know of a band that I'm missing please let me know. However, let's keep it within the power/prog genre of metal. There are other resources on the net for other types of heavy music.
I also put miscellaneous metal links up, including everything that didn't fit into the other categories pages covering power metal in general, cd stores, metal mp3 sites, metal radio on the net, etc. I will put this links into some kind of order when I get some time!
There are also general Colorado metal links i listed and links to any Colorado metal band (any type of metal).
