Introduction

This is Mark Briody, one of the guitarists for Jag Panzer.
I'm a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado and I still live here.
My hobbies and interests include heavy metal, computer programming,
graphic design, video production, scuba diving and DVD collecting.

I started playing guitar at 15. My first exposure was when
Harry (the Tyrant) showed me a few chords and the main riff
to 'God of Thunder' by Kiss. I then took 3 years of lessons at
Johnny Smith's studio. Johnny was the guitarist for Bing Crosby.

Influence

My early influences include Tony Iommi, Ritchie Blackmore,
Jimmy Page and Ted Nugent. Later influences (and the ones having
the most impact on me) were the NWOBHM bands - Iron Maiden,
Angelwitch, Witchfynde, Tygers of Pan Tang, etc

Equipment

Various guitars - I own a Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster,
Dean V and Modulus GT3. My amp of choice is a Bogner Ecstacy.
I'm also a synthesizer fanatic even though we don't use much of them
in Jag Panzer. I've got Korg Wavestation, Korg 03RW, Proteus 1,2,3,
Yamaha TG-77, Roland XV-2020 and an Akai S5000.
For software sythns/samplers I use Reason and Gigasampler.
